The children will be making and painting Christmas tree decorations

This workshop is aimed at younger children so they can enjoy working with clay to make Christmas decorations using cookie cutters and various pottery tools, then decorate them using colourful slips. All guaranteed to be fired and glazed in a shiny transparent glaze ready to be collected from Wildcroft Pottery at the beginning of December.

Where is the workshop & how is it run?

The workshop is held in Wildcroft Pottery's fully equipped garden studio, in Witley, near Godalming, Surrey.

Lucy will personally demonstrate a step by step approach to building the tree decorations, so that the children can build their own whilst being continually guided. The children will have supervised access to the pottery tools required to make each piece.

What is the cost?

£30 per child for a 1 day course

Cost includes clay, tools & equipment, decor, two firings of each piece, aprons & refreshments.
